When you use a newly-created handle for .com or .net domains for the first time with a domain, an email will be sent to the address you provide for that handle. This email will include a link where you can verify your contact information. If you do not click on this link within 15 days, the domain will be locked and will no longer be accessible.
This applies to both already-existing and newly-registered domains. It also applies to domains that are transferred to AppVZ Online with handles that have not yet been verified.
Handles that already exist do not require any further verification.
FAQ
Why does AppVZ Online use the verification process described above?
AppVZ Online complies with guidelines from the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) by verifying contact information and the domain release for transfer.
What do the emails look like that ask for verification of the contact information and for confirmation of the domain release?
The domain appvz.com will be used both as the verification link and as the From address.
How can a locked domain be reactivated?
If you still have the email with the verification link, you can still use this link after the 15-day deadline to verify your contact information. So you can still use it to unlock the domain. If you no longer have the email, you can write AppVZ Online a support request and ask us to send it to you again.
Do I really have to verify each new handle?
Yes, with one exception. If you want to use an email address in a new handle, and this email address is already being used in another handle that has already been verified, then the new handle will be verified automatically.
What will happen to the handles that I already have?
Handles that already exist do not require any further verification.
